Perinatal Psychologist
Meet Nicola
An experienced registered Psychologist with over 19 years working in private practise. Compassion, kindness, genuine care and integrity informs her work with clients.
Nicola creates a safe space for clients to be deeply supported, heard and held in a safe therapeutic space. Nicola supports clients to build their own toolkit of techniques, strategies and change, along with new insights, so that they can use these throughout their entire life, building trust in their own abilities to support themselves as they navigate challenges, experiences, tough times, traumatic events and life's changes.
Nicola’s life passion for supporting women and their families through their life transitions is extremely informed with ongoing study and experience in the following areas:
Perinatal and Infant mental health, Women's Health, Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Grief and Loss and Healing.
Her extensive knowledge of Fertility, Pregnancy, Birth, IVF, Trauma, Loss, Postpartum, and the complexity of women's health in all life's stages, allows her to provide a safe therapeutic space for client to feel that their experiences are being heard and they feel validated for what they have been going through.
Having trained with the legendary Obstetrician Michel Odent, Nicola is also a certified Doula. A yoga teacher of over 15 years with specific diplomas in Pregnancy Yoga, Postnatal Yoga and childbirth preparation, she trained with the founder of Birthlight Dr Francoise Freeman and her team in London.

Meet Bel
Bel's goal is to help mothers achieve optimal health and wellness, if the mother is thriving then the family is thriving. She specializes in working with mothers who face health concerns such as postpartum depletion, gut and thyroid health complications, hormone imbalances, and energy issues. Bel supports expectant mothers to have healthy, flourishing pregnancies by supporting the mothers nutrient needs. Bel also provides assistance for babies and children who suffer from eczema, food sensitivities, allergies, and gut health issues.

Acupuncturist
Meet Raisa
Raisa is your fertility, pregnancy and postpartum acupuncture practitioner. Raisa’s journey with her reproductive health is one that many could relate to, dealing with hormonal imbalance from a young age due to PCOS, for years she experienced vague diagnosis and no other suggestions than loosing weight and going on birth control. It wasn’t till she was trying to conceive that she realised how disconnected she was from her body and how hard it can be. She then went deep into her own healing, learnt how to look at her condition with a different lens and experienced how Chinese Medicine and acupuncture helped regulate her cycles, she felt nourished from the inside, spiritually and mentally open to be chosen by her baby.

During her practise she gained special interest in the area of obstetrics, supporting pregnant people through all stages of pregnancy and labour preparation. She has taken the Maternity Acupuncture Mentoring program, currently the only research driven post-graduate training in the field of maternity/obstetric acupuncture offered in the West with some of the most renown practitioners in the field.

This work and her own experience highlighted for her the gap in care during the postpartum period. She believes that Postpartum recovery and the psychological changes, often with feeling of loneliness and loss of identity is highly overlooked, therefore she has extended her studies on how to best support and nurture new mothers on their fourth trimester.

In addition Raisa has over 15 years in wellness and spa culture. Bringing more than acupuncture into her services, providing pregnancy massages, facials and spa rituals. She completed Beauty therapy back in 2006 and before starting her own practice she worked in destination Spas in Spain, Palazzo Versace - Gold Coast, Melbourne fashion week, and as a personal therapist to Super Yacht owners and celebrity guests World wide.

Meet Zara
Zara is a highly experienced women’s and pelvic health physiotherapist who is passionate in supporting women during their journey of matresence and motherhood.
Working in the public health system for 10 years has provided Zara with foundational skills and extensive experience helping women during pregnancy, after birth, and with any bladder, bowel, prolapse, pelvic and sexual pain concerns that arise.
Zara is grateful to be in a unique position to blend her lived experiences of an empowering vaginal and caesarean birth into her work equally, and is excited to take the next step in her career to provide proactive loving care to women during their childbearing years in her new small business, Boutique Pelvic Health.
Credentials and Experience:
In 2018, Zara completed her Masters of Clinical Physiotherapy | Major in Continence and Women's Health, at Curtin University. Zara has also published peer-reviewed research surrounding Pelvic Health and optimal provision of healthcare and was the Senior Pelvic Health Physiotherapist in Gold Coast Health’s Urogynaecology team for 7 years. This dedication to her work and study allows Zara to be classified as an "Australian Physiotherapy of Australia Titled Women's, Men's and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist."

Lactation Consultant
Meet Amanda
Hi I’m Amanda and I am an experienced Registered Nurse/ Registered Midwife International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Holistic Baby and Child Sleep Specialist and HypnoBirthing Child Birthing Educator. I began my medical career in 1995 with a Bachelor of Nursing and quickly realised I had a passion for all things baby! I completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Midwifery in 1997, and I have spent my career dedicated to the support and care for families through pregnancy, birth and beyond in a holistic nature.My combined clinical experience has been in Reproductive Medicine, Ante- natal, Birth and Postnatal care. After the birth of my first child in 2007, followed closely in 2008 with the birth of my twins, I quickly found a supportive need for feeding and sleep issues within the community were lacking. I have now been in private practice for over 14 years, working with families to uncover the reasons why their child may not be feeding competently or sleeping soundly.

Meet Kate
Kate has over 13 years experience as a Midwife, Emergency Nurse and has been teaching HypnoBirthing and childbirth education since 2011. She is a Mum to 2 boys; Tallow was born in hospital, Jax was a planned home birth and both were born in water with private Midwifery continuity of care.
Her passion is education and informed choices.
As a Midwife and Mum she believes there is so much more we could offer in terms of education from preconception to postpartum and with that in mind she created and is the host of the "what if we were taught" Podcast. On this she brings experts from around the world to share their knowledge, research and wisdom in all of these fields, whilst weaving empowering birth stories amongst it.
We need a a village to raise a child, we also need a tribe/ team to support a woman in the pregnancy to postpartum journey. To offer the best woman centred care, Kate believes a true collaborative care approach is essential and continuity of care is ideal.
